Aranyakam Homestay

Aranyakam Home Stay was a truly amazing experience for us. Situated in the middle of a coffee plantation with such peaceful and wonderful landscape with a rustic look all this made our holiday even more special. We were amazed at the warmth and hospitality provided by Rajesh and Jaffer. They were so helpful and friendly that we felt so much at home that we extended our stay there. The food was truly amazing. We are looking forward to visit them again soon.

Aranyakam home stay truly stands by its name. Kudos to Mr. Rajesh KG for excellent hospitality & great care given to us. It was indeed a great feeling of home away from home & all requirements were met. We recommend this place for having good vibes of wood & enjoy the nature at its best. Special thanks to Mr. Jaffer for looking after all our requirements during our stay. Will look forward for similar hospitality in future & shall recommend the same to my friends and colleagues.

My recent stay at a homestay was an unforgettable experience, and the food played a pivotal role in making it so special. From the moment I stepped into the welcoming atmosphere of the homestay, I knew I was in for a treat. The hosts not only provided a comfortable and homely environment but also showcased their culinary expertise. Each meal was a delightful journey through local flavors and traditions. Breakfasts were a hearty start to the day, often featuring freshly baked goods and organic produce from the host's garden. Lunches and dinners were a feast for the senses, with a diverse range of dishes that highlighted the region's culinary heritage.

Great place! Wonderful people! Fantastic food! We highly recommend to go to Aranyakam and meet Rajesh and Jafer there. We stayed for several days and enjoyed the outstanding hospitality of both. We shared so many stories that we became true friends with each other. Rajesh knows a lot about Kerala nature, tradition, custom and best places to visit. Jafer is incredibly helpful and always reachable for any kind of question. The chef prepared authentic, flavourful Kerala dishes. Rajesh offered invaluable support in planning our travels. Beyond the exceptional hospitality, the homestay's location in the breathtaking landscape of Kerala needs to be mentioned. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and waterfalls, vibrant flora, green tea plantations, we enjoyed the natural beauty of its surroundings. We visited the Rippon tea factory nearby that was an excellent recommendation by the hosts. Rajesh and Jafer are always eager to show their plantations with coffee plants, herbal plants etc., especially the cinnamon tree at the entrance impressed us a lot. For nature enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful retreat, Aranyakam homestay offers an ideal place to unwind and relax. We stayed in the tree hut what connected us with nature in an unforgettable way. We lived with the "sound of the djungle", for example with monkeys jumping around the trees. We really want to return again!

Although all have given 5stars I feel this place needs to be refurbished or need to be kept clean. Our bed sheets had damp smell and was making us tough to sleep in the stinky beds and bed sheets. The rooms where clean as it seemed not to be used for long. Food was amazing but that’s across Kerala so nothing new. The electricity was off for almost entire night, as the weather was naturally cold didn’t have much to say on it. Have to be careful with young kids playing on the grass as there are leeches and may accidentally crawl. Visited in sept.
